Inside the Obsidian Vow Suite: Every Piece, Silver or Rose

Obsidian Vow ships in six tiers now, and if you have spent any time comparing them, the hardest part is rarely choosing a budget. It is untangling exactly what lives inside each tier, and where the line actually falls between the Silver Suite and the Rose Suite. This is the piece by piece answer to both questions: one exact list per tier, and the two minutes it takes to understand how the two suites differ.

If you have not chosen a tier yet, start with the Obsidian Vow collection page for the full picture, then come back here for the detail. Everything below reflects what ships today.

Silver and Rose share the same backs and the same restraint.

Two Suites, One Collection: Silver and Rose

Obsidian Vow is one collection with two photographic variations, Silver and Rose. Every tier, from the smallest digital set to the full Grand Wedding Suite, ships in both. You choose one at the details stage, after checkout, and nothing about the price, the piece count, or the tier itself changes depending on which you pick.

What Silver and Rose Share (the Reply Card and the Details Card Never Change)

Two pieces are identical across both suites: the Reply Card and the Details Card. Whichever variation you choose, your Details Card carries the same “The Evening” timeline and the same attire line, black tie, all black, no colour, please, and your Reply Card carries the same layout and wording whether it ships write-in or QR. The variation only touches the pieces built around photography: the Save the Date and the Wedding Invitation, front and back.

How the Fronts and Backs Differ Between Them

Silver keeps the register at its coldest. The Save the Date front is a hand at the waist of a dark silk gown beside a dinner jacket. The Wedding Invitation front is two rings on dark silk with a single petal, resting against a black marble edge. Both backs stay plain smoke black, type and a seal, nothing else.

The Silver Suite save the date: a hand, a jacket, dark silk.

Rose adds the one photographed flower anywhere in the collection. The Save the Date front shows entwined hands on silver silk. The Wedding Invitation front sets two rings beside a single deep red rose on veined dark marble. The backs carry more texture too: a wax seal on slate for the Save the Date, and draped silk behind the ring and seal on the Wedding Invitation.

The Rose Suite invitation: two rings, one rose, veined marble.

That rose is photographed, never illustrated, and it stays a single accent on a single pair of pieces. It does not change the collection. The register is still smoke black, gunmetal, and one cut of deep wine, in either suite.

The Full Obsidian Vow Ladder, Tier by Tier

Every tier below is live and buyable today. Choose the one that matches how much of your wedding you want Obsidian Vow to cover, from a paperless save the date through every printed piece plus your own hosted wedding website.

Digital Basic, the Mobile-Only Start

Digital Basic is four pieces, entirely digital: the Mobile Save the Date, the Mobile Invitation, the Mobile Reply Card with QR Code, and the Mobile Thank You Card. Nothing is printed and nothing is posted. Each piece arrives as a high resolution image sized for a phone screen, ready to send by text, email, or social. It suits a couple going fully paperless, or anyone who wants a mobile-first companion set to run alongside a printed suite from another tier.

Essentials, the Core Print and Mobile Set

The Essentials Suite is six pieces: the Wedding Invitation, the Save the Date, the Reply Card, the Details Card, plus a Mobile Wedding Invitation and Mobile Save the Date to reach guests you would rather text than mail. This is the tier most couples start with, the full print invitation experience with its digital companions built in.

Digital Deluxe, Fully Digital With the Wedding Website Included

Digital Deluxe is five pieces: the same four mobile pieces as Digital Basic, the Mobile Save the Date, the Mobile Invitation, the Mobile Reply Card with QR Code, and the Mobile Thank You Card, plus the Obsidian Vow wedding website. The website builds itself the moment you add your details and is live in minutes, one page, digital only and never printable, on your own ThornBloom link with your names at the end or a slug you pick, matching your stationery’s register. It suits a couple who wants a complete digital experience with one place for guests to find everything, RSVPs included.

Day-Of, Everything for the Reception Itself

The Day-Of Suite is thirteen pieces, built for couples who already have their invitations handled and need the venue itself dressed to match: the Welcome Sign in two sizes, the Seating Chart, the Bar Menu, the Guest Book Sign, the Cards and Gifts Sign, the Unplugged Ceremony Sign, the Order of the Evening, the Favor Sign, the Dinner Menu, Table Numbers one through twenty, Place Cards, Favor Tags, and Food Labels. Every sign, every table piece, and every guest facing card for the day itself, in the same restrained register as the invitation suite.

Reception Deluxe, the Full Reception Layer

The Reception Deluxe is fifteen pieces: everything in the Essentials Suite, the Wedding Invitation, the Save the Date, the Reply Card, the Details Card, and both mobile pieces, plus nine reception pieces, the Dinner Menu, Table Numbers, Place Cards, Favor Tags, the Favor Sign, Food Labels, the Bar Menu, the Guest Book Sign, and the Cards and Gifts Sign. It suits a couple who wants their invitations and their reception table in one purchase, without the venue signage that Day-Of and the Grand Wedding Suite add.

The Grand Wedding Suite, Every Piece Plus the Wedding Website

The Grand Wedding Suite is twenty seven pieces, everything Obsidian Vow makes, in one purchase. It carries all six pieces from the Essentials Suite, all nine reception pieces from Reception Deluxe, and twelve more: the Welcome Sign, the Seating Chart, the Ceremony Program, the Order of the Evening, the Unplugged Ceremony Sign, the Invitation Wrap, which is a gunmetal belly band since Obsidian Vow carries no vellum, the Envelope Liner, Envelope Addressing, a Mobile Reply Card with QR Code, and two thank you cards, printed and digital, included free. The suite also includes the Obsidian Vow wedding website at no extra cost, the same website sold on its own in Digital Deluxe. It is the complete Obsidian Vow experience, print and digital, in a single order.

Choosing a Reply Card: Write-In or QR

Wherever the Reply Card appears as its own piece, in the Essentials Suite and in Reception Deluxe, it ships two ways, and neither is an upgrade over the other. The write-in version sits on Stone Stock, the one lighter stock in the collection, with “Kindly Reply,” a line for acceptances and declines, an entree line, and a line for one song request. Guests fill it in by hand and mail it back. The QR version sits on smoke black and scans straight to wherever you would like responses to land, your own Obsidian Vow wedding website’s RSVP page if you have one, or anywhere else you tell us at the details stage.

Inside the Grand Wedding Suite, the printed Reply Card ships as the QR version, matching the Mobile Reply Card with QR Code already included in that tier, so every reply your guests submit lands in the same place. In every other tier where the Reply Card appears, the choice between write-in and QR is yours, made once, at the details stage.

What the Studio Sets, and What Stays the Same in Every Order

Every tier above works the same way once you check out. You send your names, your date, your venue, your wording, and whichever choices your tier calls for, Silver or Rose, write-in or QR, and the studio sets every piece around them. A person checks each one before it reaches you, and you approve a proof before anything is finalized. A proof follows within two business days of us receiving that stage’s details, three business days for anything that waits on your guest list, and two revisions are included per piece after that.

One thing never changes, whichever tier you choose. The price buys typesetting, your details set into the suite exactly as designed. The palette, the typography, and the layout are the design itself, smoke black, gunmetal, one cut of deep wine, and they stay exactly as they are across every order. What changes from couple to couple is never the design. It is only ever the details you send us.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Silver Suite and the Rose Suite?

The Silver Suite and the Rose Suite are the same collection, the same tiers, and the same prices. What changes is the photography on the Save the Date and the Wedding Invitation. Silver keeps a hand at the waist of a dark silk gown and two rings on dark silk with a single petal, with plain smoke black backs. Rose shows entwined hands on silver silk and two rings beside a single deep red rose on veined dark marble, with a wax seal back and a draped silk back. You choose once, at the details stage, and it carries through every piece in your tier that has a Save the Date or a Wedding Invitation.

Do the reply card and details card change between Silver and Rose?

No. The Reply Card and the Details Card are identical whichever suite you choose. The variation only affects the two pieces built around photography, the Save the Date and the Wedding Invitation, front and back.

What is included in the Obsidian Vow Grand Wedding Suite?

Twenty seven pieces in total. That is the full Essentials Suite, the nine reception pieces also found in Reception Deluxe, and twelve more pieces exclusive to this tier: the Welcome Sign, the Seating Chart, the Ceremony Program, the Order of the Evening, the Unplugged Ceremony Sign, the Invitation Wrap, the Envelope Liner, Envelope Addressing, a Mobile Reply Card with QR Code, both the printed and digital Thank You Card, and the Obsidian Vow wedding website, all included in one price.

Can I choose write-in replies instead of a QR code?

Yes, in the Essentials Suite and in Reception Deluxe, where the Reply Card is your choice, write-in on Stone Stock or QR on smoke black, made once at the details stage. The one exception is the Grand Wedding Suite, where the printed Reply Card ships as the QR version to match the Mobile Reply Card with QR Code already included in that tier.

Can the studio change the colours, fonts or layout for my order?

No. The palette, the typography and the layout are the design itself, smoke black, gunmetal, one cut of deep wine, and they stay exactly as they are in every order. What you send us is your details, your names, date, venue and wording, your Silver or Rose choice, and your reply card style. Every piece is typeset by the studio around those details and proofed before it is final.

Choose Your Suite

Start on the Obsidian Vow collection page, or go straight to the tier that fits: Digital Basic, Essentials, Digital Deluxe, Day-Of, Reception Deluxe, or the Grand Wedding Suite. Whichever you choose, decide Silver or Rose before you send your details, since it is the one choice that shapes what arrives.
