Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers both your own details and the guest information you send us.

What we collect from you

• Order information: your name, email address, billing address and payment details. Payment is handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your wedding details: names, date, venue, wording and anything else you send us so that we can set your pieces.
• Your guest list, where your suite includes seating, place cards or envelope addressing.
• Contact and newsletter information, if you write to us or subscribe.
• Usage data: pages visited, referring links, device and browser type, IP address, through cookies and analytics.

Your guest list

We do not have your guest list until the day you send it. It is not collected at checkout and not requested up front. It arrives when you submit the Guest List & Seating stage, and it is used immediately to set your seating chart, place cards and envelopes.

Your guests will never hear from ThornBloom Studio. We do not email them, market to them, sell the list, share it, or use it for anything other than producing the pieces you ordered.

The file you send is stored on our server, which is not publicly accessible and not indexed by search engines, so that we can cross-check it while your suite is in progress. A guest listed one way on an envelope and another way on a seating chart is the most common error we catch.

How long we keep it

We keep your guest list until you ask us to remove it. There is no automatic deletion and no fixed retention period.

We have written that plainly rather than promising a timed purge, because a promise we did not keep would be worse than none. Write to us at any time and we will remove your guest list from our systems. You do not need a reason, and it will not affect files that have already been delivered to you.

What we use your information for

• Producing and delivering your order
• Sending proofs, order confirmations and delivery emails
• Answering your questions and providing support
• Marketing emails, only if you have asked for them. You can unsubscribe from any of them
• Improving the site, preventing fraud, and meeting our legal obligations

Who else is involved

• WooCommerce: runs our shop and order processing
• Stripe: processes payments
• SiteGround: hosts this website
• MailerLite: sends our email, if you have subscribed
• Google Analytics: tells us how the site is used

Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not pass your guest list to any of them.

Cookies

We use essential cookies so the site and cart work, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, and preference cookies to remember your settings. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling essential cookies will stop the cart working.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to info@thornbloomstudio.com and we will act on it.

If you are asking on behalf of a guest whose details appear on someone’s list, please contact the couple who booked with us first. We hold their list at their instruction and generally have no way to identify an individual guest or verify who is asking.
